About You & Me

Ki Element_ Grayscale-0269.jpg

As a licensed massage therapist for the past 30+ years, I approach your body and its balance needs through a unique perspective of years of study and hands on experience in the fields of emergency medicine, athletic coaching, dance, personal training, nutrition studies and massage techniques integral anatomy and in depth dissection work. These coalesce into a wholistic approach to individual tissue health and structural response that benefits you in ways you likely never imagined would be effected as they can be with massage. Consider the possibilities this structural alignment sessions or Graston therapy can open up for you and your functional abilities.

Structural integration is key for your body's appropriate and proper range of motion. This can make the difference between neck and shoulder pain at the end of a day on the computer, or shin splints pain from weekend and after work exercise.

This is why a key component of my attention and concern for all patients and clients is proper body alignment. This will be effortless for you, but will inform each sessions activity or style of treatment when you come in for massage and / or bodywork. You tell me your priorities for the visit:

  •       'relax, and let it all go'

  •       'stress reduction, detangling from flights and travel'

  •       'pain reduction - figure out what's wrong', etc

...  and I'll work it into your session.

As it is ,my belief that the body does it's best healing in a state of reverie,  all deep diving into the body will be performed in such a way that you may sleep through it or at least 'travel' a bit in your mind while experiencing the work. This is not a 'no pain, no gain' enterprise. But it is one built on effective results.
